Instructions

Step 1
In a heatproof bowl, melt the dark chocolate and butter together over a pot of simmering water (double boiler) or in the microwave, stirring until smooth. Let it cool slightly.
Step 2
In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar together until the mixture is pale and slightly thickened.
Step 3
Gradually pour the melted chocolate into the egg mixture, stirring continuously until fully combined.
Step 4
Sift the flour and unsweetened cocoa powder into the bowl, and gently fold them into the batter until just combined.
Step 5
Pour the batter into a lined or greased baking pan. Sprinkle a pinch of fleur de sel on top.
Step 6
Drop spoonfuls of peanut butter on top of the batter. Using a skewer or knife, swirl the peanut butter to create a marbled effect.
Step 7
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Adjust the time according to your oven.
Step 8
Let the brownies cool in the pan for at least an hour before cutting and serving. This helps them set and enhances the flavor.
