Step 1
In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder and caster sugar.

In a different bowl, mix the milk, oil, egg & vanilla extract.

Combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients and mix until you get a smooth batter, not too runny.
Step 4
Core the apples and slice them to get doughnut shaped circles. (You can also peel them beforehand if you prefer)

Heat up your frying oil. Once it’s hot, dip the slices of apple in the batter and cook on both sides until golden brown.

Mix the white sugar with the cinnamon and coat the apple fritters in this mixture.

Drizzle caramel sauce all over and finish with a dusting of powdered/icing sugar. Enjoy! 🍎🧡
