Instructions

Step 1
Combine water and sugar in a large pot and boil for 10 minutes. Turn off the heat and add spices. Steep for 1 hour in a warm place.
Step 2
Strain the mixture. Then add the apple cider, orange juice and lemon juice. Bring back up to a boil and serve.
Step 3
Note: to substitute the sugar in this recipe for honey - combine 2 cups water with 2 cups honey in place of the water-sugar mixture. Proceed with the rest of the recipe.
