For the Bars
½ cupunsalted butter
softened
¾ cupgranulated sugar
¼ cupbrown sugar
1egg
large
1 teaspoonvanilla extract
1 teaspoonred food coloring
1 ½ cupsall-purpose flour
2 tablespoonscocoa powder
½ teaspoonbaking soda
¼ teaspoonsalt
For the Drizzle
Instructions
Step 1
Preheat Oven: Set to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper.
Step 2
Bars: Beat butter and sugars until creamy. Add egg, vanilla, and red food coloring, mixing well. Stir in flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt until combined. Spread batter evenly in the pan.
Step 3
Bake: Bake for 20–25 minutes or until the center is set. Let cool completely.
Step 4
Drizzle: Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth. Drizzle over the bars and slice.
