How to Make Homemade Pasta with Fresh Ingredients
With this simple recipe, learn how much fun it is to make your own pasta from scratch. Ideal for foodies and anybody who enjoys the genuine flavour of home-cooked Italian food. Let's start learning how to make spaghetti!
Ingredients:
2 cups (250g) of all-purpose flour
3 large eggs (room temperature)
1 teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon of olive oil
Essential Utensils:
Big basin for mixing
Whisk or fork
A rolling pin or pasta maker
Pasta cutter or sharp knife
A fresh kitchen towel
A baking sheet

Directions:
Get the dough ready:
Make a well in the middle of the flour in a large mixing basin.
Add the olive oil, salt, and cracked eggs to the well.
Working from the inside out, slowly add the flour to the eggs with a fork or whisk until a dough forms.
To knead the dough:
Move it to a surface dusted with flour. Knead until elastic and smooth, 8 to 10 minutes.
Let the dough rest for half an hour after wrapping it in plastic wrap or a fresh cloth.
To cut and roll the pasta:
Separate the dough into smaller pieces. Each part should be somewhat flattened.
Roll the dough into thin sheets using a rolling pin or pasta maker.
Cut the sheets into the pasta shapes you choose, such as lasagna, spaghetti, or fettuccine.
Bring a big saucepan of salted water to a boil in order to cook the pasta.
Depending on its thickness, cook the pasta for two to four minutes after adding it.
After draining, mix with olive oil or your preferred sauce.
