Instructions

Step 1
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Step 2
Add sliced sausage to the skillet and cook until browned.
Step 3
Add chicken broth, BBQ sauce, honey, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet.

Stir in the penne pasta.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low and cover.
Step 6
Simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until pasta is cooked and liquid is mostly absorbed.
Step 7
Stir in cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
Step 8
Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
