Step 1
1. Toast pine nuts and sesame seeds in pan.
Step 2
2. Mix all liquid ingredients together along with ginger, garlic, lemongrass and chili, and add to green beans and broccoli.
Step 3
3. On a hot skillet or open flame, char the green beans and broccoli, you don’t want them to lose their crunch, just to get some flavor and colour on them. If cooking on an open flame, ensure that the green beans and broccoli have been able to sit in the soy sauce mixture for at least 30 minutes. If cooking on a skillets, you can cooking with about a third of the soy mixture in the skillet.
Step 4
4. Place charred green beans and broccoli on a platter, drizzle over remaining liquid, crumble goats cheese over the platter, sprinkle over the pine nuts and sesame seeds and bob’s your uncle, bon-appetite!
