Turtle Cake

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350

Step 2

Mix cake according to box directions

Step 3

Pour half of cake mix into a 9x13 pan, greased and floured

Step 4

Bake for 15 minutes

Step 5

While cake is in the oven, melt caramels, 3/4 cup of butter and evaporated milk over medium heat

Step 6

Pour mixture over cake and top with chocolate chips

Step 7

Pour remaining cake mix over this and bake for 20 more minutes

Step 8

Allow cake to cool and add icing (and extra chocolate chips as desired)
