I used to make this refreshing summer aperitif for my grandfather and father as a young kid while they started the fire for a summer Sunday barbecue in Buenos Aires. I loved using the soda water siphon!
I recently had the ingredients on a table in front of me and it naturally came together. Just the smell of the foamy head was a trip back in time…
This refreshing summer aperitif is a must try!

Instructions
Step 1
Fill half of an American pint glass with ice, add the fernet, then the vermouth (preferably Cinzano Rosso). Top with soda water from a siphon or from up high to mix the drink and make a foamy head. Serve right away (the foam is delicious and doesn’t last long). Enjoy!
