Ingredients
2 servings

¼ cupall-purpose flour

3 tablespoonsrolled oats
old-fashioned

2 tablespoonsbrown sugar
plus more for sprinkling on top

⅛ teaspooncinnamon

salt

2 tablespoonsunsalted butter
cold, cubed

2Granny Smith apples
large, peeled, cored and chopped

1 tablespoonall-purpose flour

2 tablespoonsbrown sugar

¼ teaspooncinnamon

1 tablespoonunsalted butter
or oil, for ramekins
Instructions
Filling
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°F. Spread butter or oil in two 10-ounce ramekins and set aside, you may also cook this in one larger sized ramekin.
Step 2
In a medium mixing bowl add chopped apples, flour, cinnamon and sugar until all of the apple pieces are coated well. Scoop into each ramekin and set aside
Topping
Step 3
In a medium mixing bowl add the flour, oats, 2 tablespoons brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt and mix until well combined. Add in the cubed butter and work the mixture together with your hands or a fork until it starts to clump together. Evenly distribute the topping between both ramekins on top of the apple filling. Sprinkle 2 extra teaspoons of brown sugar on top.
Step 4
Bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes or until the apples are cooked through and the topping is lightly golden brown. Allow to cool for about 5-10 minutes. Serve with ice cream or enjoy on its own!
