Chudleigh's Apple Crisp
4 steps
Prep:15minCook:30min
A Tart Apple (Essential): Use Granny Smith for at least half of your apples. The tartness cuts through the richness of the butter and the sweetness of the sugar, giving your crisp a complex, balanced flavor.
A Sweet Apple (For Depth): Add a sweeter variety like Honeycrisp, Fuji, or Gala for a more rounded flavor profile.
