Sprinkled Brownie Cookies

Instructions

Cookies

Step 1
preheat oven to 350
Step 2
spray with oil or line with parchment paper a baking sheet
Step 3
start melting butter and chocolate chips in a pan on the stove, keep on med-low heat and stir consistently
Step 4
combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a small bowl while the butter and chocolate is melting
Step 5
beat the eggs, vanilla, sugar, and brown sugar together until the mixture doubles in volume
Step 6
add in the chocolate mixture to the egg mixture with a rubber spatula
Step 7
fold in dry ingredients
Step 8
form equally sized balls on the cookie sheet and lightly press down (you can make anywhere from 6 to 12 cookies depending on size)
Step 9
put in oven for 12 minutes, then take out and switch sides for another 5 minutes (keeping a close watch)

Chocolate Ganache

Step 10
melt chocolate chips and butter in the microwave for 30 second intervals, this took me two intervals
Step 11
spread the mixture onto the top of your warm cookies and immediately sprinkle your choice of sprinkles or topping

let ganache turn fudgey and serve:)
