Sweet Potato Casserole

5 steps
Prep:15minCook:45min
A delicious and creamy sweet potato casserole made with mashed sweet potatoes, sugar, eggs, and milk. Perfect for a comforting dessert or side dish. • Reduce or replace the 1 cup white sugar — Cut it to 1/4–1/2 cup pure maple syrup or honey (natural sweeteners with more nutrients and lower glycemic impact). For even lower sugar, use 1/4 cup maple syrup + extra spices (see below), - add 1–2 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp nutmeg, and/or 1/4 tsp ginger. These enhance the natural sweetness without calories.
