Instructions
Step 1
Open up each date, remove the pit if needed, then lay it flat on a baking pan or plate lined with parchment paper
Step 2
Press each date down with a glass to smash it until it's as thin as you'd like
Step 3
If you are making the pistachio butter from scracth: add pistachios and oil into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Add less oil first and then add more if needed
Step 4
Top the dates with the pistachio butter (this recipe makes extra pistachio butter)
Step 5
Melt the chocolate in the microwave and add it on top of the bites. Top with sea salt flakes and crushed pistachios
Step 6
Let set in the fridge or freezer until the chocolate has set and enjoy!
