Instructions

Step 1
PREPARATION: Combine cream cheese and butter in heavy bottomed saucepan.
Step 2
Stir over low heat until cheese is soft, butter is melted, and mixture is blended.
Step 3
Add powdered sugar and stir till well combined.
Step 4
Add your choice of food coloring and flavoring.
Step 5
If desired you may divide the whole batch to make 2 or 3 color choices adding extract to taste.
Step 6
Roll into 1" balls.
Step 7
Place on sheet of wax paper.
Step 8
Press with fork.
Step 9
Let stand uncovered 4 hours or overnight until mints are firm and outside is dry but inside is moist and creamy.
