If you too are a fan of baked goods but not baking, and also have minimal requirements in terms of your dessert's nutritional value / visual appeal -or just want to eat something sweet- this will tide you over until Co-Op opens in the morning.

Instructions
Step 1
I would say 'throw it all together and mix' but then you might put your shoulder out (it's really quite a firm dough). I recommend microwaving the butter in 5 second increments - you want it soft enough to mash, but nowhere near a liquid.
Step 2
Mash together the butter and sugar, and then combine with the flour (if you want a workout, try to knead at this stage without the milk). Add the milk and bash it about 'til it's consistently stodgy and robust.
Step 3
Add chocolate chips and knead again at your peril. Or maybe I'm just a weakling 😂
Step 4
[PSA: you may have noticed this recipe contains no egg, meaning you're a lot less likely to get ill from this cookie dough, though your chances still aren't zero due to the raw flour, so take care]
