Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350 F. Pour the contents of a box of cake mix onto a sheet pan. Spread evenly. Bake for 5-7 minutes. Remove from the heat and pour into a bowl to cool.
Step 2
Prepare the other box of cake mix according to the instructions. Generously spray ramekins with nonstick spray. Pour the cake mix into the ramekins about 3/4 the way full. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until fully cooked through with a slightly soft center. You can also follow your cake mix instructions for small bakeware, which should be on the back.
Step 3
Return to the heat treated cake mix. Add the milk and stir together. Keep adding milk until your desired batter consistency is reached! Set aside
Step 4
Remove the cakes from the oven. Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes, until the ramekins aren’t too hot to touch.
Step 5
Scoop a medium size (2inch diameter) hole out of the center of the cake, then pour batter into it. Make sure the hole goes deep but not to cut through the bottom of the cake. Place the piece cake back on top of the hole where the batter is. Loosen the edges of the cake with a butter knife.
Step 6
Put a plate on top of the ramekin. Hold the ramekin in place onto the plate and then flip upside down. It should easily release from nonstick ramekin. Dust with powdered sugar and enjoy!!
