Instructions
Step 1
Add butter and oats to inner pot of instant pot and use the sauté setting until butter melts and oats release a nutty fragrance (about 5 minutes)
Step 2
Add 3 1/2 cups water, brown sugar, cinnamon and diced apple to instant pot
Step 3
Cover instant pot and set Valve to seal. On pressure cook setting, set to high pressure for 10 minutes. When complete, allow 5 minutes of natural pressure release.
Step 4
Serve with whatever toppings you like or eat as is. Some suggestions for toppings include fresh fruit, nut butter, sliced nuts, honey, maple syrup, molasses etc.
