3 ¾ csugar

1 ¼ clight corn syrup

1 cwater
candy flavor
to taste, cinnamon preferred, usually about a cap full

food coloring

powdered sugar
optional
Instructions
Step 1
Heat sugar, water and corn syrup on medium high, stirring continuously until mixture reaches approximately 305 degrees or "Hard Crack" on a candy thermometer.
Step 2
Remove from heat, stir in flavor and food coloring, then pour into greased 9x11 pan. Let cool completely, then crack with a hammer.
