Instructions

Step 1
Wash cranberries. Drain and set aside to dry.
Step 2
Pulse cranberries a few times gently in a food processor.
Step 3
Add cranberries in a glass jar.
Step 4
Add orange juice.
Step 5
Add raw honey.
Step 6
Gently mix with a wooden chopstick to combine cranberries & honey and also eliminate air bubbles.
Step 7
Loosely close the lid and place on a dish in a dark place to ferment.
Step 8
Small bubbles will start to form in a few days to a week which indicate fermentation is happening. This process may last a couple of weeks to a month or so.
Step 9
Every 1-2 days, close the lid tightly and turn the jar a few times to make sure all cranberries are thoroughly mixed with honey. Then loosen the lid again and allow it to ferment more. Do so during the first 2 -3 weeks.
Step 10
You can enjoy it in 2 weeks but it tastes better after 1-2 months.
Step 11

Store in a cool dark place ( e.g. pantry) for up to a year.
