Homesteader Honey or Fireweed Honey Or Clover honey, is not a bee originated honey. It is a homemade honey that is next to impossible to tell the difference. I have substituted it in recipes with no issues. So for the cost of #5 pds of sugar, the time picking some clover blossoms and fireweed blossoms (if you have access) you come out with about 4+ pints of honey.
