Instructions

Step 1
Pre-heat oven to 150 degrees centigrade
Step 2
Add rice into an oven proof dish big enough to hold more than 2 pints.
Step 3
Add the milk, vanilla and sugar and stir well
Step 4
Dot the surface with butter
Step 5
Bake for 30 mins then stir rice gently
Step 6
Continue to bake until rice is tender. Usually an hour or an hour and a half
Step 7
Serve with a dash of extra milk or cream if needed
