Instructions

Step 1
Making the perfect BBQ Ribeye steak is easy! Start with a nice cut of meat. Look for a one inch thick cut with lots of fat lines in the meat - the more marbling the better!
Step 2
Take steak out of fridge and let it warm up to room temperature. Heat BBQ on med/high (about 450 degrees).
Step 3
Add salt, pepper and garlic powder to both sides of the steak. Make sure it's fully coated.
Step 4
Put steak on the hot BBQ. For rare, leave it for 3 mins on one side, flip, and leave for 4 minutes. For medium, leave it on one side for 4 mins, 6 mins on other side. For well done, 5 mins, 7 mins. Note: Do not flip steak more than once or you'll lose the delicious char.
Step 5
Let steak sit for 8-10 minutes. Slice and enjoy!
