Instructions

Step 1
Salt the steaks generously and let sit on counter for about 30 minutes to an hour to reach room temperature.

Preheat oven to 225
Step 3
Crush garlic cloves and place in same pan as steaks
Step 4
Bake the steaks until they've reached an internal temperature of about 115
Step 5
Preheat cast iron until it smokes while the steaks rest momentarily. About 5 to 10 minutes.
Step 6
Put a small amount of canola oil in the cast iron, then gently place both steaks in it. Let sear until it releases, then flip.
Step 7
Add butter, garlic, rosemary, thyme, and worcestershire. When butter is melted, start basting the steaks. Then flip and baste the other side briefly before plating.
