Seasonal Apple Filling
I use this to make homemade toaster strudel, pop tarts, topping for overnight oats, and plenty more!

Step 1
Peel and grate the apples into a large bowl.

Step 2
In a separate pan, melt unsalted butter over medium heat. Cook while swirling the pan until butter is lightly browned and nutty.

Add the apple and stir. Once juicy, stir in the alcohol of choice and simmer 2 more minutes.

Add and stir in the flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, lemon juice and a pinch of salt.
Step 5
Bring to a simmer and cook just until the apple is cooked through and thickened (3-5 minutes).
