Maple Bacon Shrimp

Looking for a way to jazz up that shrimp ring? Wrap the shrimp in maple bacon for the ultimate one-bite appetizer. This recipe works with any size shrimp, just cook the shrimp until heated throughout & serve.

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 400(f) degrees & line a baking sheet with foil.

Step 2

Transfer bacon onto the prepared baking sheet ensuring no pieces overlap.

Step 3

In a small mixing bowl whisk together the butter, maple syrup, chili powder & paprika. Brush each piece of bacon with the mixture & bake for 10 minutes, until partially cooked.

Step 4

Wrap bacon around shrimp & secure with a toothpick. Place back in the oven for 3 to 5 minutes, until bacon is crispy & shrimp is heated throughout. Serve immediately.
