Instructions
Step 1
Slice apples and rhubarb and toss with cornstarch, first 1/2 t salt, and sugar.
Step 2
Place in a 9x9” square glass baking dish.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir in the brown sugar.
Step 4
Using a fork or pastry cutter, work in the butter until crumbly.
Step 5
Mix in the oats.
Step 6
Sprinkle this crumbly sugary buttery goodness evenly over the fruit.
Step 7
Bake about 30 minutes at 375 degrees. Fruit mixture will be bubbling gently.
Step 8
Serve hot or cold.
