Instructions
Step 1
Boil the water and stir in the box of potatoes
Step 2
As potatoes thicken add one full stick of butter, sour cream, and cream cheese and continue to stir until thick
Step 3
Once the potatoes have reached your desired thickness, scoop and spread into shallow baking pan with rubber spatula
Step 4
Cut one stick ( 4 oz ) of butter into equal size pads and lay across the top of the potatoes
Step 5
Sprinkle parmesan cheese over the top of the dish and bake in the oven for 15 minutes at 375°
Step 6
After baking for 15 minutes turn on top broiler for 1 to 2 minutes until the parmesan cheese makes a golden brown crust on top. Once the top is browned removed from oven and serve
