Instructions

Step 1
Mix cinnamon and the two sugars in a bowl then set aside.
Step 2
In the bowl of your stand mixer add the flour, salt, spices, and sugars and yeast then whisk together to combine and set aside.
Step 3
In a separate bowl add the milk, butter, vanilla, and sour cream. Microwave until warm but not hot and stir until butter is melted.
Step 4
Attach a dough hook to the mixer and pour the wet mixture into the dry then run on low. Add the egg in and mix until the dough comes together and it's tacky but doesn't stick to your fingers.
Step 5
Dump dough out onto a well floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes, sprinkling with additional flour as needed then transfer to a large oiled bowl.
Step 6
Cover and allow to rise in a warm place until doubled in size. About 2 hours.
Step 7
On a well-floured surface roll the dough out to a rectangle that’s about 1/4 an inch thick. Spread the room temperature butter over the surface generously sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar. Roll frome one end of the dough to the next.
Step 8
Score the rolls as thick or thin as prefered and use dental floss to cut into individual rolls. Arrange in a baking dish with about an inch between each roll. Cover and rest in a warm place to rise for 40 minutes. *****Rolls can be stored unbaked in the refridgerator overnight at this point, or frozen for up to 14 days in a sealed container. Thaw before baking. *****
Step 9
While dough rises, make the glaze by blending together all the ingredients in a food processor. Set asid until rolls are done baking.
Step 10
Heat oven to 350 F and bake for 25-40 minutes or until rolls are slightly browned on top. If the tops are getting too brown too quickly, cover loosely with foil and continue to bake until done.
Step 11
Spoon glaze over the rolls immediately after removing from the oven.
