Craving this today. Unfortunately everyone ate it before I had a chance to take a picture! This works best with bananas that are super ripe with dark spots. Cut each banana in half, then in half lengthwise.

Instructions

Step 1
Butter an 11x7 inch glass pyrex or oven safe dish. Put cut bananas flat side up, then dot with remaining butter.
Step 2
Sprinkle brown sugar over the bananas, then bake at 375 for 10 min.
Step 3
Toast coconut in a dry small saute pan, then set aside. Watch carefully because the coconut quickly goes from toasted to burnt.
Step 4
Take bananas out of the oven, sprinkle with toasted coconut and chocolate chips. Put back in oven for 2-3 min to melt the chocolate.
Step 5
Put a scoop of vanilla ice cream in four bowls them top with two warm pieces of the banana and a bit of syrup from the dish. Enjoy!
