My Bestie's Amaretto Lemon Drop

Ok this one is for that long day that just will not end or better yet for the day you want to treat yourself because you survived the day. But first let me tell you why I knew this drink had to be shared in this cookbook. My bestie always orders a Amaretto Sour no matter where we go, on those rare occasion we can sneak away from everyday life. When I moved over 11 hours away from her we started this silly thing where we would toast each other via the phone and I wanted to feel like she was with me so I would attempt an Amaretto Sour but I am more of a sweet girl and that is how the recipe for Amaretto Lemon Drop was born.

Step 1
In a large mixing glass add Ice, Amaretto Liqueur, and Lemonade, Simple Syrup and shake until mixed well.
Step 2
Pour drink into another glass and add lemon slice and cherries on top for garnish.
Step 3
Drink Responsibly because this drinks taste like a flavored lemonade.
