Maceroni and cheese, like Stouffer's

Variation:
- For a creamery sauce, use part cream and part milk.
- Add a Panko topping on Mac n cheese by combining 3/4 C Panko, 1/4 C chese and 3 Tbsp butter
- Try different kinds of cheese or adding vegetables and meat. A few ideas are below:
Jalepino popper Mac and cheese
Use bacon grease instead of butter. Sauté 1-2 jalapeños in bacon grease. Continue with normal instructions. Use a mixture of Monterrey jack and mozzarella cheese instead of cheddar cheese in the sauce. Add 12 oz cooked bacon to cheese sauce and pasta. Add Panko topping using Parmesan cheese for topping.
Smokey Chipotle Bacon Mac and Cheese
After melting butter, add 1/2 of a diced onion and sauté. Add flour and milk, then 2 chilies in adobo sauce (diced) Add 1/2 tsp paprika. Substitute Gouda and Sharp cheddar cheese. Add 8 slices of crumbled bacon.

Instructions
Step 1
Whisk milk and flour in a saucepan and place it over medium heat. Add Shredded cheese, margerine and salt. Stir often until the cheese begins to melt.
Step 2
Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes on low heat. Use a Whisk to stir ever few minutes so that it becomes smooth and thick.
Step 3
While sauce thickends, cook maceroni according to directions. Boil abotu 8 minutes, or until tender, and then strain. You should have about 1 3/4 C of cooked Maceroni
Step 4
When the cheese sauce has simmered for 30 minutes, pour pasta into a large bowl.
Step 5
Gently stir in cheese sauce, and then pour mixture into a loaf pan or casserole dish (for freezing). Cover and Freeze.
Step 6
When you are ready to eat this, preheat oen to 350°. Bake frozen maceroni for 50-53 minutes or until the cheese begins to brown slightly.
