Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 190°C/375°F/Gas 5. Carefully wipe the mushrooms clean with a damp cloth or kitchen paper. Cut off the stems. (Save them for soup if they are not too woody). Oil a baking dish large enough to hold the mushrooms in one layer.

Step 2
Place the mushroom caps in the dish, smooth side down. Mix together the chopped garlic and parsley and sprinkle the mixture over the mushroom caps.

Season the mushrooms with salt and pepper, then sprinkle with oil. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
