Instructions
Step 1
Line a loaf pan with parchment paper

Melt butter (barely).
Step 3
Pour into mixing bowl.
Step 4
Add sugar and blend until smooth.
Step 5
Add eggs one at a time and mix after each addition.
Step 6
Add almond meal and continue blending.
Step 7
Add almond essence and stir.
Step 8
Pour into loaf pan lined with parchment paper.
Step 9
Top with a few slivered almonds for decoration.
Step 10
Place in oven pre-heated to 350 to 375 F.
Step 11
Bake for 30 to 45 minutes until toothpick comes out clean
Step 12
Try cooking it in a fan oven for outside crispiness.
