Was a normal flour recipe but changed the flour & added guar gum and it is a perfect GF substitute. So much so, it is the recipe I go to. Cannot say it is healthy though :)

Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease baking trays.
Step 2
Cream butter and sugar, then beat in egg and treacle.
Step 3
Sift in buckwheat flour, guar gum, bicarb soda, and spices and mix well.
Step 4
Roll mixture into balls, place on prepared baking trays and a flatten with a fork.
Step 5
Bake for 15-20 minutes.
