Just so much fun for kids to make and eat. It’s not difficult at all. Fill with chocolate, gummy bears and a candy cane.

Instructions
Step 1
Melt butter in medium saucepan over medium low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until almost melted. Add food coloring. Shut off heat and add rice Krispy cereal and stir. Add more food coloring, if necessary, to reach a red color. Depending on the size you want, (I used a tennis-ball size of cereal) and shape it into a boot. Repeat with remaining cereal. This will make 12 boots. You can make them smaller and get more boots if you want. Make an indent about 1” down into the top of each boot. This is so you can place candies in there in the last step. Next Melt the dark chocolate for about 30 seconds in microwave and place in piping bag or small ziplock bag. Pipe a line around the bottom of the boot to create the sole. Let harden. Next Melt the white chocolate chips and shortening for 30-40 seconds and mix until smooth. Dip the top of each boot about one inch down into the chocolate. Before it hardens place your candies into boot as shown. Repeat with remaining boots. Enjoy
