Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Step 2
Spray an 8 x 8-inch baking pan with cooking spray, then line the pan with a piece of parchment paper cut long enough to create an overhang on two sides. Crease the parchment and tuck it into the corners of the pan for a tight fit. Set aside.
Step 3
Place the chocolate brownie mix, oil, eggs, chocolate milk, vanilla extract, and salt in a large bowl. Using a hand mixer, combine ingredients until everything is incorporated and no dry ingredients are visible.
Step 4
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth into a single even layer. Sprinkle semi-sweet chocolate chips over the top.
Step 5
Bake for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Step 6
Sprinkle brownies with sea salt. Allow to cool completely before cutting.
