Banana Pudding Cookies

Banana pudding cookies made with a yellow cake mix. I reserved chopped vanilla wafers to put on each cookie before baking. You have to freeze dough one hour before baking.

Step 1
Cream butter, add all other ingredients, reserving some vanilla wafers to put on top of cookies before baking.

Freeze mixture for one hour
Step 3
Line 4 baking sheets with parchment paper, makes 24 cookies.
Step 4
When dough is set, use medium scoop and scoop out onto baking sheet, put rest of dough back in freezer while first batch bakes.
Step 5
Bake 10 to 15 minutes( depending on oven)
Step 6
Let cool and do second batch.
Step 7
Drizzle with icing if desired. I mixed a little softened butter, powdered sugar vanilla and a touch of milk.
