Instructions

Caramel

Step 1
Preheat the oven at 335 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 2
Place sugar in a small non-stick sauce on high heat. Heat until sugar starts to melt stirring constantly, once sugar is golden brown add cream and keep stirring (it will bubble that is normal) Then add butter and salt and keeping stirring until caramel has a golden color and thick consistency.

Brownie

Step 3
In small bowl melt chocolate and butter in a microwave for 30 second increments making sure to mix well in each increment.
Step 4
Combine eggs and sugar in a medium size bowl and beat the eggs on high speed until mixture looks pale, forthy, and thick.
Step 5
Pour your chocolate mixture into the egg mixture and mix until well combined. Then add your instant coffee mixture in and whisk again.
Step 6
Dump flour and cocoa powder into the wet ingredients and gently start folding it. The batter should be thick.
Step 7
In a 9x9 pan lined with parchment paper pour in brownie batter and spread it evenly with a rubber spatula. Spoon caramel on top of the brownie batter. Using a butter knife or toothpick zig zag your brownie and caramel together but not mixing them.
Step 8
Bake for 20 minutes and let it cool for 20 minutes before cutting.
