Box cake
prepared white or yellow
blueberry sauce
whipped cream
Strawberries
halved or blueberries for garnish

Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven. Prepare and bake cake according to instructions on the box. If the box has a “creamier” version, follow those directions.
Step 2
While cake is baking, make the blueberry sauce. Mix together sprite and blueberries and heat until sauce. Add in sugar and extract until melted. Add cornstarch to thicken the sauce.
Step 3
Once cake is finished, take the back of a spatula or something round and poke holes evenly, across the cake.
Step 4
Pour an even layer of sauce to fill the holes and lightly cover the surface of the cake so that it can soak in.
Step 5
Evenly spread whipped cream over the top of the cake and refrigerate for at least a couple hours.
Step 6
Top with a piece of fresh fruit like half of a strawberry or a couple blueberries.
