Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 170°c (fan).
Step 2
Place butter in a bowl and melt in the microwave. Add sugar, eggs and vanilla and mix well.
Step 3
Add flour and cocoa and mix to combine. Add pecans (or one bag of chocolate chips, if using) and mix.
Step 4
Spread evenly in a lined, 30x20cm tray and bake for 25-30 minutes. (28 minutes in Flint Way oven).
Step 5
Sprinkle chopped dark chocolate on top of the hot brownies and allow to melt for 3-4 minutes before spreading.
