Ingredients

Ingredients for the cream:
½ cupcream cheese
½ cupdouble cream
1 tablespoonmarmalade
thick, bitter marmalade is
2 tablespoonsbrandy
or rum
2 teaspoonslemon juice
sugar
to taste
Ingredients for base:
Instructions
Step 1
Blend all the ingredients for the cream in a liquidizer till smooth. (I*SOFTA123’S NOTE: what the Scottish people call a liquidizer is what we Americans call a blender.)
Step 2
Place the oranges in four long-stemmed glasses and, if you want, add a teaspoon of brandy (or rum) to these. Add the cream on top.
Step 3
Garnish with some orange zest (boil for a few minutes in water to reduce the bitterness).
Step 4
Serve chilled.
