450 Fahrenheit is about 230 Centigrade

Is your oven Fahrenheit or Celsius? My current oven is in Celsius and it only goes to 250 but I never bake at that temp. The equivalent temp for your oven would be 232° then follow the recipe as written

It's 450°f, I guess you're in the UK like me? If so it's more like 220°c or 200 if you have an electric fan oven. Hope that helps x
