I had some over ripe apples so i quickly found this recipe to hopefully get rid of them in a tasty manner. I halved the recipe and swapped out pecans for almonds, almond flour for multipurpose flour, and bourbon for honey whisky. So lots of on the spot mixes.
The topping did not get as brown as I would have liked and that could be due to the change in flour. This recipe smelled amazing. Definitely needed some time of cream on top (like the recommended Ice cream, yogurt, whip cream)
