I adapted this for AIP (eliminated brown sugar and red pepper flakes) and it turned out great. I did another version with a chuck roast in the instapot - just added about a cup of water to the sauce - and it was delicious! We have also done this with ground turkey and it’s great. I always double the sauce because it’s better with the rice when it’s saucy. We top with shredded carrot, rice vinegar pickles, sesame seeds, and a drizzle of sesame oil.
