Can you tell me how you adjusted it for stovetop?!

I just combined all the ingredients (except for the milk, cream cheese, and cheese) in a pot and basically just cooked it like you would pasta. Boiled it while covered and stirred regularly, then removed the lid to let it evaporate a bit. Once most of the liquid was evaporated and the pasta was cooked, I added the rest of the ingredients.
