I never follow instructions (I've been cooking for more than 50 years), but the overall idea sounded wonderful! While I changed a few things, adding vegetables (summer squash and collards), and reducing the amount of hot seasoning, it turned out to be a big hit with my husband and me!

You're never too old to learn a new skill like following a recipe, but if you were the perfect cook you wouldn't need a recipe are all ever, yet here you are😛 I too have been cooking for that length of time but I know I don't know everything. 🙄
