i’ve never been great at baking, but this recipe is so good! the cakes themselves came out a hair overdone despite taking them out before the recommended time, though that may be an issue with my oven or the types of tins i used.
for the cakes i used a mix of cane, coconut, and regular white sugar, as well as a homemade hemp milk. i also added a splash of lemon extract to the icing because i like things really lemony! i’d definitely recommend opting to make your own blueberry jam for the icing, it tastes so much better than store bought plus you can control the sweetness better!
