halfing the original recipe of 28 servings to 14 made 10 large cookies total for me.
the juice in the apples gave the middle of the cookies a moist, fruity taste almost like banana bread which was surprisingly pleasant with the crispy edges.
to achieve the star-like core shape on the right-centre cookie just cut the apple sideways instead of lengthways
