I made this with 15 minute rice, not instant. I made the rice separate in the chicken broth, and just added it in. My fire roasted tomatoes were crushed, and so it was quite saucy, which I personally liked. I used pre-cooked, German sausage from a bulk bag (5 total, will add more next time perhaps). This recipe is simple to make, and very flavourful and filling! We may try this on pasta next time rather than with rice. You could definitely spice this dish up easily as well, which would be so good! Tagging this as one-dish as that's the recipe way.
